ELECTRICITY Generation PROJECTS


The projects concerning the offering are as follows:

  •  The Tan Tan diesel power plant with a capacity of 116 MW, commissioned in 2009.
  •  The Mohammedia gas turbine with a capacity of 300 MW, commissioned in December 2009.
  •   The wind farm in Tangiers with a capacity of 140 MW. The Dhar Saâdane portion (107 MW) of the Tangiers wind farm was commissioned gradually from April 2009, while the commissioning of the Beni Mejmel portion (33 MW) took place in 2011.
  •   The Ain Beni Mathar integrated thermal-solar combined cycle plant with a capacity of 472 MW, commissioned in 2010.
  •    The Tanafnit El Borj hydraulic complex with a capacity of 40 MW. The commissioning of the complex took place in 2009 for Tanafnit and in 2010 for El Borj.
  •    Extension of the Dakhla diesel power plant with a capacity of 16.5 MW, commissioned in 2009.
  •    The Kenitra gas turbine with a capacity of 315 MW, commissioned in July 2012.
  •    The Akhfennir wind farm with a capacity of 100 MW, commissioned in 2013.
  •     The Houma wind farm with a capacity of 50 MW, commissioned in 2013.
  •     The Foum Elouad wind farm with a capacity of 50 MW, commissioned in 2013.
  •     The Tarfaya wind farm with a capacity of 300 MW. The full commissioning of the project took place on December 08, 2014
  •     The extension of the Jorf Lasfar power plant of Units 5 and 6 with a total power of 700 MW. The full commissioning of the project took place in April 2014.
  •     Ouarzazate Noor 1 solar power plant with a capacity of 160 MW, commissioned in December 2015.
  •     The Akhefnir 2 wind farm with a capacity of 102 MW, commissioned in 2016.
  •     The power plant of Laayoune Diesel Group with a capacity of 72 MW, commissioned in November 2017;
  •     Extension of the Dakhla Diesel Power Plant with a power of 16.5 MW, commissioned in June 2017;
  •     The 350 MW Jerada 4 coal-fired power plant, commissioned in December 2017 ;
  •     The Jbel Khalladi wind farm with a capacity of 120 MW, commissioned in 2017.​
