Goal:
To support the energy efficiency sector in capacity
building and to contribute to the foundation of local skills capable of carrying
out and monitoring energy efficiency projects in all socioeconomic areas.
Achievements
The Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Sustainable
Development and the National Council of the Association of Architects (CNOA)
organized, in collaboration with the Moroccan Agency for Energy Efficiency
(AMEE) with the support of the project of the GIZ, training sessions for
architects on the thermal regulation of construction in Morocco took place in
Rabat in September 2018, on November 24-25, 2018 and on December 08-09, 2018 in
Tangiers.
Other actions have been devoted to the implementation
of:
- 13 training sessions for 202
participants, on the software relating to energy efficiency in buildings;
- Training of trainers;
- Training of executives, architects, engineers and
technicians on energy efficiency in buildings. The Agency is currently preparing a training program for 1500 architects on
the basis of the requirements of the decree relating to the RTCM (Thermal Building Regulations in Morocco) and
is working on its activation in coordination with the sectors concerned;
- 2 training sessions on solar pumping for 22
participants, qualified for the use of solar energy for pumping well water;
- 4 training sessions on individual and collective
solar thermal power stations of 56 participants, qualified for the contribution
in the projects for solar water heaters ;
- Energy efficiency training workshop on public
lighting for 15 executives to enable them to assess the energy performance of
street lighting projects, with a view to meeting the constant demand for skills
in the field of energy efficiency in public lighting;
- Training on energy efficiency in industry for 17 executives to give them the skills to
perform energy audits of sites, and provide solutions for energy saving based
on energy efficiency techniques.
